Popped in to One Cedar on a Sunday because they were open in the afternoon, and I’m stoked I found this awesome craft coffee shop. The iced latte was perfect, and I grabbed a bag of some tasty-looking beans to take home. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

One Cedar is exactly the kind of coffee shop I love finding. Warm, intentional, and clearly run by people who care deeply about the craft. Alvaro (hope I got your name right!) and Noah were so cool and welcoming, and the barista was truly talented. My flat white was absolutely flawless—the milk texture was perfect, silky and glossy with microfoam so well incorporated that it didn’t split in the jug or separate in the cup. Everything came together beautifully, creating that smooth, balanced sip you can instantly recognize when coffee is dialed in just right. The latte art was stunning too. The contrast between the espresso and milk was beautiful, with crisp definition and clean lines, and the stacks of the artwork lined up perfectly with the handle—such a small detail, but one that says so much about the level of precision and care behind the bar. I also loved learning about their setup. They have four different grinders, allowing them to offer a variety of coffees and really showcase each bean at its best. This place is unreal. Hands down the best coffee on the west side. Noah and Alvero are true artists behind the bar. Every shot is perfectly pulled and has the most divine taste. The latte art is gorgeous and you can taste the care they put into their ingredients.

Locally owned spot in Santa Monica. I’m glad that this cafe opened up in Ocean Park as it was a nice neighborhood walk. Came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday morning and had a matcha latte and latte. Both were well made and the owner/barista was super nice and personable. There are a couple of tables indoors and outdoors to sit and sip. There is metered parking out front. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back!

Honestly loved both times I’ve gone. I usually go during work hours and take the little girl I babysit and the barista is always sweet to both of us. The drinks are a 10/10. One of my fav in the area of SM.
